Bringing different groups of people together, and creating memorable experiences.
WHERE I WAS AT
I love to bring different groups of people together that might not otherwise, get together. New experiences and adventures inspire me, sharing those moments with others excites me.
I’m the friend that doesn’t mind being the one to organize that dinner, or your birthday party, or our next trip overseas. I have a spreadsheet for “everything” and a never ending list of things to do, see, eat or visit for almost any reason.
My personal get-togethers, trips and organized group experiences organically morphed into an idea for a series of events that might cultivate connection, and collaboration.
WHAT I DO
I decided to create a weekend-long festival over my birthday, including accommodations, menus, and activity programming. Saxtonbury started in 2015 with an all inclusive weekend for 15 people in Upstate New York. For the inaugral event, I designed a vision for the concept, shared it with food and beverage brands, and manage to negotiate product sponsors to stock the bar.
We stayed at The Glen Wilde, a property that had the required space for the “party in the woods” plus 8 (totally instagrammable) cabins for my guests.I sourced a local yoga teacher, catering team and bongo player to keep us zen, fed and entertained.
Since then I’ve created multiple memorable, all-inclusive group experiences in NYC, Rhode Island and the Adirondacks.
Mix ‘n Mingle is an invite-only private dinner hosted at my home in Brooklyn, New York. We invite 10 -12 interesting people to join us for good conversation, over good wine and good food.
Cocktails are my jam. And my husband happens to be pretty good at it. For groups of 8 – 10, we offer Cocktail making workshops, from basic 101 classes to a more detailed menu.
